Abstract

Technological advances influence our daily lives in several aspects, so thinking about teacher training that includes the articulation of digital technologies with educational processes corresponds to a social and also educational demand. This article, which originates from Doctoral research, linked to the XXXX and XXXXXX Postgraduate programs, aimed to establish reflections on the training of teachers in Natural Sciences courses (CNT) at the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS) in the face of the context of digital culture. To this end, it presents a qualitative approach, with a descriptive and exploratory bias, using as a data source the Pedagogical Political Projects of the CNT Courses (PPC), treated from the perspective of Bardin's Content Analysis (2016). The results revealed that the UFS CNT PPCs present pedagogical guidelines and disciplines that articulate the training process with digital culture and digital technologies; that contemplate the conception of education as promoting the formation of critical and participatory citizens in society; and that articulate pedagogical knowledge with specific knowledge of the area. We consider that university professors of CNT courses are responsible for a complex set of responsibilities, new content and ways of thinking about education, so that they can assist in the process of training CNT degree students in the context of digital culture.

Joanna Angélica Melo de Andrade, Universidade Federal de Sergipe

PhD student in Education at the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS). Master in Science and Mathematics Teaching (2018) and graduated in Biological Sciences (2015) from UFS. Specialist in Clinical and Institutional Neuropsychopedagogy (2024), and in Specialized Educational Service (2018) from Faculdade Jardins. Member of the Communication and Technology Research Center (NUCA/UFS). She worked as a teacher in the public education network of Aracaju/SE and the state of Sergipe from 2020 to 2023. She has experience in the area of teacher training and integration of digital technologies into teaching practice; special education from the perspective of inclusive education; and environmental education with an emphasis on sustainable development.

Anne Alilma Silva Souza Ferrete, Universidade Federal de Sergipe – UFS

He has a doctorate in Education from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (2007), a master's degree in Education from the Federal University of Sergipe (2002), a degree in Data Processing Technology from Tiradentes University (1994). She is a professor at the Federal University of Sergipe working in the Department of Education (DED), and in the Postgraduate Program in Education (PPGED). He has experience in the area of Computer Science, with an emphasis on Information Systems. It operates mainly in the areas of Education, with an emphasis on Educational Technology, IT in Education, Assistive Technologies, Distance Education (EAD), Virtual Learning Environments, among others. Leader of the NUCA Research group.

Rosana Maria Santos Torres Marcondes, Universidade Federal de Sergipe – UFS

PhD student in the Postgraduate Program in Education at the Federal University of Sergipe (PPGED/UFS). Master in Education from PPGED/UFS, Specialist in Distance Education Training from Universidade Paulista, Graduate in Portuguese and French Literature from UFS. Member of the Research Group at the Communication and Technology Research Center (NUCA/UFS), working mainly on the following themes: Digital Technologies in Education, Active Methodologies and Teacher Training. Professor at the Faculty of Aracaju (FACAR) and the Faculty of Sergipana (FASER). Portuguese Language Basic Education Teacher. Has worked in Higher Education since 2003. General and Pedagogical Coordinator of FAZER, FACAR and ProUni/Fies.
