Abstract

The recognition of a system of binding rules about corporate responsibility to respect human rights, with particular reference to the right to a healthy environment, is capable of promoting more benefits than costs, saving lives, converting the possibility of sanction into a cost to the polluter and to put the human being again at the center of the deliberation.
