EDUCATION AND TECHNOTEACHING: THE “EMERGENCY” OF A CONCEPT IN FORMATION
A “EMERGÊNCIA” DE UM CONCEITO EM FORMAÇÃO

The dissemination of Digital Technologies in contemporary society in the educational field has had a significant impact on pedagogical practices and educational environments, as it gives teachers a new attitude towards teaching, learning and assessment processes. In this sense, the concept of Tecnodocência emerges to discuss the challenges and possibilities of this integration by giving new meaning to pedagogical practice, and with it, teaching practice crossed by technology. The result of collaborative work by researchers from two Brazilian public universities, the present study aims to understand the state of the art of research carried out on Tecnodocência, mainly in dissertations and theses developed since 2015, the year in which the concept was coined. The dissertations presented, for the most part, carried out research with the participation of teachers and students of basic education, seeking to understand the possibilities, challenges and contributions of Tecnodocência to the construction of knowledge. In order to understand the contributions of this research in the context of teacher training, we seek to discuss the “emergence” of this concept.
