MEMÓRIAS DAS PRÁTICAS EDUCATIVAS DOS PROFESSORES DE EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA ESCOLAR

The objective of this study was to identify in the memories of Physical Education teachers, from the time of schooling to the professional stages, references that may have influenced their educational practices, in order to analyze the permanences and changes that occurred in educational work. The research was developed in the city of Jequié, a municipality in the interior of Bahia, with Physical Education teachers trained in the 1980s. It is characterized as a qualitative research approach that is based on Oral History as a method of data collection and analysis. of data, together with production in the area. For this article we used as a reference the point of view of three subjects, three Physical Education teachers who narrated their life stories, allowing us to perceive in their professional trajectories the strong influence exerted by high-performance sport, something that we believe reflects the reality of many Physical Education classes in the city’s public schools.
