Abstract

In this article we seek to show the narrowness of market categories for thinking about the notions of choice, and of choice at school. On the one hand and first of all by returning to the analysis of choice situations, and on the other hand and then, by reflecting on what may well appear as the end of school, namely, the possibility of any commitment. The notion of commitment, unlike that of choice, is central.
