THE INCLUSION OF CHILDREN IN INSTITUTIONAL SHELTERING SITUATION IN PRESCHOOL EDUCATION: LITERATURE REVIEW

Abstract

Institutional sheltering is considered a provisional measure, which must take into account the child or adolescent’s reiteration in their origin family or in a host family. The Welcoming in institutional sheltering, when operating in accordance with the legislation, has as its principle being a safe space for children and adolescents. This article aims to analyze  the discussions in scientific productions on the inclusion of children in institutional sheltering situations in preschool education. In order to do so, a literature review has been carried out; the data was, therefore, interpreted from the content analysis. The results show that little is discussed when it comes to inclusion of children in institutional sheltering situation in preschool education. Concerning inclusion, what has been discussed refers mainly to the right to access, showing that few productions have enhanced the theme.
