The aim of this article is to present reflections on the processes of teaching and learning through an interdisciplinary project developed in two classes of first year of Early Years of Primary Education in a Bilingual Education School of the Private Network located in Vale do Itajaí/SC. It is understood that Bilingual Education involves, besides languages, access to and promotion of interculturality, based on the Cultural-Historical Theory, and the collective interests of society, and that interdisciplinarity is a dialogue between different areas of knowledge and the curricular components that integrate them. This is a quali-quantitative approach research based on the application of a didactic sequence involving 53 students of the first-year classes of the Elementary School of a private Bilingual School in Vale do Itajaí/SC. The results indicated that the development of literacy practices favored the learning of concepts and knowledge from other fields of knowledge, due to interdisciplinarity in English and promote inclusive and meaningful teaching and learning processes for students. It is considered that this pedagogical practice that envisions research, instigates autonomy, protagonism and the engagement of students in, by and with the mediation of teachers.
