The advance and consequently the use of technologies have been strengthened since the 21st century, taking objective proportions in the dynamics of life in society, but also spreading to human subjectivity. Thinking about the need to reflect on the issue, this study discusses the relations between the Cultural Industry and Education, considering the impacts of technology and media culture on human formation. This is bibliographic research with a qualitative approach. The search was made through the reading of the classics of the Frankfurt School and authors who dialogue in the same perspective. In synthesis, we understand with this study that the products of the Cultural Industry are established not only in an objective way, but also spread to the human subjectivity, changing the conceptions and values of individuals in the current conjuncture. It is important to highlight the importance of education in this process to contribute to people being able to think for themselves, without being immersed in the illusory charms provided by the dominant media culture. Still, it is a right for every individual to have access to an emancipating education, which discards all neutrality and reaffirms the commitment to human formation.
