TEACHING CONDITIONS OF ASSIGNED TEACHERS IN MINAS GERAIS EDUCATION NETWORK

The objective of this article is to present the result of a state-of-knowledge study about the teaching condition of assigned teachers from the Public Education Network of Minas Gerais (REE-MG). At REE-MG, the institute of the temporary contract was a distinct figure, the Assignment. Established in 1990, it is a determining element of the objective dimension of the teaching condition in this network. The uncertainties are inherent to the temporality of the contract are added to the constant legal and managerial changes related to it and the phenomenon dimension, which has reached 75.5% of teachers in the classroom. The history, dimensioning, explanation, and measurement of the designation impacts are challenges that have been faced by researchers, according to the conclusions of this study. Reversing the observed picture, in order to promote the improvement of the teaching condition at REE-MG, is up to the public administration and it is something even more challenging than understanding it.
