Everyone has the ability to learn. But, how do we learn? Every person has distinct learning preferences and idiosyncrasies. This preferred method of learning is referred to as a "learning style." Many things have been said about people's learning styles, from elementary school to higher education, but research on learning styles in kindergarten and early elementary school is clearly lacking. This research aims to determine how scientific productions addressed learning styles in early childhood education and early elementary school between 2011 and 2021. As a theoretical reference, Alonso (1994), Bee (2011), Claxton (2005), Doigde (2021), Portilho and Beltrami (2009), and Portilho (2011) contributed with their studies for data analysis, articulation, and discussion of the results. A bibliographic survey of the productions about the Learning Styles of the Child in Early Childhood Education and Early Years of Elementary School was carried out using a qualitative approach of the state of knowledge type, confirming that only 23 publications met the search descriptors, with 7 of the productions belonging to the same line of research. This study is critical because it emphasizes the scarcity of productions in the area as well as the importance of expanding knowledge about the Learning Styles of children in Early Childhood and Elementary School.
