Abstract

This article has as its theme the imbrication of the Actor-Network Theory in the field of Education and its objective was to consolidate a Systematic Review (SR) of articles registered in the ‘Portal de Periódicos Capes’ and in the SciELO repository between the years 2017 and 2021, which adopted the Actor-Network Theory as a theoretical-methodological approach for analysis in educational contexts. Methodologically, the SR followed the protocol proposed by Akobeng (2005) and started from a group of 52 articles that, after submission to the content filter and thematic selection procedures, was reduced to four productions. This indicator, in addition to expressing a scarcity of publications on the subject, suggested an insufficiency of pedagogical experiences that consider the analysis of the agency of technical objects in the educational context. On the other hand, the RS highlighted the relevance of the Actor-Network Theory as a convenient basis for research in Education, supporting the analysis of socio-formative practices and public policies.
