WHO ARE THE HISTORY STUDENTS AT UFRPE?

This article aims to present the socioeconomic profile of students graduating from the Degree in History at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco, establishing a dialogue with the results of the Enades editions from 2005 to 2017. use of quantitative data collection, extracted from the Enade Student Questionnaire. In the theoretical foundation, the contributions of Abreu, Ximenes (2020) and Cabral (2017) were accepted for the discussion on quotas; Wainer and Melguizo (2018); Ristoff (2016) and Dentz; Sato and Valle (2019) on Enade; Santos (2013) on the relationship between quotas and students' permanence in higher education. It was observed that the elements brought by Enade confirm the success of inclusion initiatives in a positive and gradual way on the permanence of undergraduates through the implementation of the quota system that favored the access of students to higher education.
