Abstract

One of the principles of working with genres is based on the fact of developing the student's autonomy regarding the domain of the functioning of language in different communication situations, since it is from the genres that social practices are developed. In this sense, the realization of didactic-pedagogical actions that explore the work with discursive genres can positively contribute to the improvement of the mother tongue. Thus, it is necessary to implement the teaching proposals suggested in the BNCC (2018), enabling the student to have a significant participation in the various social practices in which they are inserted in their daily lives. Therefore, this article aims to present the results obtained with the application of activities with the retextualization processes (MARCUSCHI, 2010; DELL'ISOLLA, 2007), developed with a class of Elementary School II, 9th grade, with the genres short story and podcast. In this sense, we provide opportunities for students to understand the similarities and differences between oral and written modalities, expanding their reading competence. The results obtained demonstrate that working with oral and written genres at school enables students to develop multiliterate skills necessary to understand texts that can circulate in their daily social practices.
