Video production at school - mediations and media-educational practices

This article presents the results of a research carried out with high school students and teachers in three colleges in the municipality of Duque de Caxias-RJ. Initially, it discusses the conceptual approaches that guided the project, both in terms of mediations and media-education. As well, it presents a discussion about the possibilities of using audiovisual content in the classroom. Then, they explain the objectives of the research, which aimed to promote the realization, by students and teachers, of short videos adapted from literary works. Finally, there is an analysis of the results in the light of the proposed theoretical frameworks, in view of the videos produced and all their realization processes.
