This article proposes reflections on the continuity and discontinuity theses of the mind, to analyze some of its impacts on Moscovici's Social Psychology and Childhood Psychology. To this end, it analyzes the action of the base themata as Serge Moscovici, Vignaux (1994) and Ivanna Marková (2006) in the construction of scientific knowledge. It aims, through the idea of multiple orders of reality, as suggested by Tambiah (2013), and the notion of cognitive polyphasia, announced by Moscovici (1978), to question the social status of children as subjects of social representations.
