COVID-19 AND HOLIDAY INTENTIONS: A RESEARCH ON POTENTIAL TOURISTS RESIDING IN ANKARA

Resumen

El COVID-19 es una importante enfermedad que amenaza la vida mundial en un corto periodo de tiempo y sigue siendo una amenaza para la humanidad con sus variantes emergentes. El objetivo de este estudio es examinar el efecto del COVID-19 en las intenciones de vacaciones de los individuos residentes en Ankara, la capital de Türkiye, que tienen la posibilidad de irse de vacaciones en el futuro. La investigación se llevó a cabo entre el 9 de febrero y el 16 de marzo de 2022 sobre una muestra de individuos mayores de 18 años (n=393). Se utilizó un formulario de cuestionario en línea para recoger los datos de la investigación. En la investigación se utilizaron estadísticas descriptivas, análisis de fiabilidad, análisis factorial, análisis de correlación y análisis de regresión lineal. Los resultados de la investigación mostraron que las dimensiones de impacto psicológico y sectorial de COVID-19 tienen un efecto estadísticamente significativo sobre la intención de vacaciones, mientras que la dimensión de impacto económico de COVID-19 no tiene un efecto estadísticamente significativo. Por último, el estudio incluye implicaciones teóricas y prácticas.
