COVID-19 is an important disease that threatens global life in a short period of time and continues to be a threat to humanity with its emerging variants. The aim of this research is to examine the impact of COVID-19 on the holiday intentions of individuals residing in Ankara, the capital of Türkiye, who have the potential to go on holiday in the future. The research was conducted between February 09 and March 16, 2022 on a sample of individuals aged 18 and over (n=393). An online survey form was used to collect the research data. Descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis and linear regression analysis were used. The findings of the research show that the psychological and sectoral impact dimensions of COVID-19 have a statistically significant effect on holiday intention, while the economic impact dimension of COVID-19 does not have a statistically significant effect. Finally, theoretical and practical implications are presented.
