Abstract
The object of study of the article is the situation of female workers in the fashion industry in Third World countries under a bias contrary to victimization, and which is based on theories that recognize the need for conscious action and focused on emancipation. The research hypothesis is that they are in an emancipation process, for which jobs help, although they are still precarious. The research is qualitative, exploratory, critical and based on bibliographic and documentary review. The results show that instead of victimization and guilt, the focus of action in favor of a more ethical fashion should be on dignity, freedom and the need for empowerment.
