Resumen
Novos modelos de empreendimento pautados no compartilhamento transformaram a atividade de empresa nas primeiras décadas do século XXI. As empresas de economia compartilhada conseguiram alcançar níveis globais de sucesso em um ritmo sem precedentes. No entanto, ao modificar as estruturas sócio-técnicas e econômicas estabelecidas, a economia de compartilhamento acaba por suscitar diversas controvérsias. O presente estudo tem como objetivo identificar os limites da Sharing Economy, sobretudo em países em desenvolvimento como o Brasil. A hipótese trabalhada é de que, embora uma crítica do hiperconsumo tenha sido central para o surgimento da economia compartilhada, ela parece ter se transformado em oportunidade puramente econômica pouco preocupada com a sustentabilidade.
