Resumen

This paper aims at investigation the process of conceptual blending analogy and metonymy, departing from Fauconnier's assumption (1999) and here analyzed  under the perspective of the socio-cognitive hypothesis on language (salomão 1996; 1997; 1999; Salomão Brodback 1998). On this line, it has been assumed that blend, as the resulting structure from the alignment of elements from the inputs accessed for it's making up, has a strong socila motivation, being mainly displayed as the product of a process  of verbal seduction, used by the speaker  to demand a certain MCI from his hearer, so guaranteeing the understanding/ statement/ action idealized for the behavioral and discoure synchrony.
