ResumoThis work analyses the way through which difference, equality and identity formation are related in the school context. The main idea is that both school and interactions, which are set up on its interior, are essential to the production, maintenance or transformation on the relation diference and equality and also to the construction of social identity. In this way, the essay points at the necessity to deconstruct images and discourses considered to be natural and which are responsible for discrimination and exclusion.
