As mediadoras das vozes chicanas contemporâneas: Cisneros, Chávez, Corpi e Grande

O objetivo deste artigo é discorrer sobre a literatura das mulheres chicanas, a qual teve sua emergência nos anos oitenta (século XX), e sobre as escritoras chicanas, que têm servido como mediadoras das vozes das chicanas, reverberando os acontecimentos sociopolíticos no cenário estadunidense e propiciando a quebra de muitos paradigmas, além do (re)conhecimento dos(as) chicanos(as), tanto perante à sua comunidade quanto à comunidade estadunidense dominante.
