Abstract

The objective of this article is to discourse about chicanas´ literature which had its emergency in the eighties (20th century), and about the chicanas writers who has served as mediators of the chicanas voices, reverberating the socialpolitical events in the American scenery and providing the break of many paradigms, besides the chicanos recognition not only before their community but also before the dominant American community.
