ABSTRACT: This text, an excerpt from the doctoral thesis, aims to observe “the places where memory crystallizes and takes refuge” (NORA, 1993, p.7) in the poems of Nanny Zuluaga Henao. Her memory passes through the places of her childhood, through nature, through the real characters that surround her, through ancestral memories and the legacies left by the original peoples and through the Africanness that runs in her blood.
