O feminino no campo da arte, ou "o coração enfermo e miserável"
Keywords:
Feminismo, Violência, Gênero, MulherAbstract
The feminism that aims to expose the various forms of violence committed against women, and to reconsider the female body and sexualities in opposition to societal, political, and sexual fixations is able to bring the experience of exclusion into the literary space. In the short story “The World to Come” (2018) by Jim Shepard, and in the novel “The Power of the Dog” (1967) by Thomas Savage, the violence perpetrated against the female characters leads, as a sort of response, to women who challenge the social and institutional naturalization of femininity by creating their own sets of desires and actions.
