This study addresses the role of private hegemony apparatuses in the High School reform in Brazil, focusing on the activities of the Institute for Accountability in Education, the Sonho Grande Institute, and the Nature Institute. The research problem arises from the following question: in what way do private hegemony apparatuses influence the implementation of the reform, with an emphasis on the slogans disseminated and their integration into the national educational context? The objective is to identify the main slogans disseminated by these apparatuses and implemented in the educational policy of High School reform. Methodologically, this is a research study with a qualitative approach, of a bibliographic nature and with documentary analysis. The results reveal that the reform favors education oriented towards market demands, focused on the training of a flexible workforce, to the detriment of students' holistic development and civic education. Concepts such as youth protagonism, life project, and choice of school, widely promoted by private entities, are shown to be aligned with a hegemonic logic of ideological control, in which such institutions operate as mediators of the neoliberal discourse. It is concluded that the reform contributes to the reproduction of social inequalities by shifting the focus of education from being a right to a utilitarian and functionalist conception aimed at adapting to the contemporary capitalist system.
