A INFLUÊNCIA DO NEOFASCISMO NO NOVO ENSINO MÉDIO BRASILEIRO

This article is the result of research that aimed to place the current counter-reform of Brazilian secondary education in the ideological context of the period 2016-2022, concerning about the influence of neo-fascist ideology. It therefore complements recent researches that place their objects in the same conjunctural period, but has neoliberalism as axis. The focus of the article is, particularly, the anti-scientific nature of the counter-reform, analyzing a set of normative documents and teaching materials with the guidance of a methodology that interprets the hidden elements – structural and ideological – of the formal rules of the capitalist school. The discussion of anti-environmentalist policies of the period and their impact on the educational field illustrates the phenomenon analyzed. The work concludes that anti-science constitutes an articulating element between neofascism and the recomposition of the neoliberal program in Brazil, verifying that scientific denialism finds fertile ground to develop itself, within a curriculum centered on the Pedagogy of Competences, on the ideology of entrepreneurship and fragmentation guided by the provision of training itineraries.
