From the Law of Directives and Bases of National Education no. 9.394/1996 (LDB), Early Childhood Education becomes the right of children from 0 to 6 years old, which makes it mandatory and part of Basic Education. This condition mobilizes the production of official normative and guiding documents for Early Childhood Education. In general, these productions propose that the curricular organization is not disciplinary. On the other hand, the LDB affirms Physical Education as a mandatory curricular component of basic education, which makes us question how Physical Education is related to Early Childhood Education. The present study sought to problematize this relationship in the Curriculum Guidelines for Basic Education for Early Childhood Education (2013) in Campinas. To this end, we carried out a post-structuralanalysis of the curriculum proposed by Cherryholmes. The results obtained indicate that, although Physical Education is not included in the document, there is the presence of know led great tributed to it, such as games, taken as children's body language, which incites us to affirm the importance of pedagogues to count in their formations with the debate of Physical Education in the area of languages.
