Abstract

Abstract:

The present article is anchored in a general idea that different educational paradigms confabulate and are interconnected by a perspective which accepts that educational field and human formation carry over breakings and continuities. Supported by the premisse above explained, we argue about junctions between Aristotelian philosophy and Freirian pedagogy to conclude that both privilege corporative hue or social perspective of civil organization without, however, vacilate aspects that concern to the individual personality’s improvement. We conclude – after a kind of argumentation which causes following Ancient Philosophy’s tracking in Freirian Pedagogy – that Aristotle, betting in Man as a zoon-politikon, propels us to update human potencialities in view of happiness, that is, ethical satisfaction in middle of social existence and to accomplish Freirian’s proposal that humans can “be more”.
