O QUE HÁ DE “NOVO”?

Abstract:
This text aims to present and analyze the Law 23.197 of 26/12/2018, that relates to the Minas Gerais State Education Plan (PEE) and defines the goals and strategies for the field for the decennary of 2018 to 2028. Thus, we look forward to establish the relations between the mentioned plan and the management of educational politics in the state of Minas Gerais since 2019. For this purpose, we looked for the publications on the website of the State Education Secretariat (SEE/MG) about the construction of PEE, as well as on the Legislative Assembly (ALMG), that promoted debates about the elaboration and aprimoration process of the document in question, along with the the current administration’s publications about the actions for education in the period between 2019 and 2022. We came to the conclusion that PEE is not constituted as a reference for the educational politics and that the efforts from the current government are focused on putting into practice their project of education from a managerialistic perspective.
