Abstract

The objective of this article is to offer elements to teaching staff and researchers that allow them to work on divergent sexualities in indigenous contexts in educational settings. Thus, one presents key issues to better understand the theme, such as the denomination, approach, and colonization of indigenous sexualities in Brazil. In the end, one presents generating themes for the development and deepening of the problem, in the light of issues that transcend the indigenous universe but that dialogue with colonial processes.
