Abstract ou Resumen:
Feminists were responsible for the construction of the concept of gender, highlighting its fundamentally social and historical character, which implied the need to think about a history of both men and women. It was as heirs of this contribution that we wrote this article as a proposal for a Feminist History Teaching, a teaching that, in addition to including new themes, also provokes us to reevaluate the writing of History, as well as our ways of teaching and learning. Based on the inspiration of the writings of Djamila Ribeiro and bell hooks, we are dedicated to bringing these two fields of knowledge together: gender relations from a feminist perspective and the Teaching of History. These are two fields that invest in knowledge as a potential for transformation, in an understanding of reality as a result of construction and in subjects as the result of educational processes.
