Abstract

Building upon the National Human Rights Education Plan and a geolocalized media project (# SP64), we propose some reflections on the potential that new digital technologies, especially geolocation, offer to the development of educational approaches to defending human rights. We analyzed the "mobility turn" (Sheller and Urry, 2006; Cresswell, 2006), the notion of hybrid space (Souza and Silva, 2006) and we rely on the difference between strategic and tactical practices (Certeau, ( 2005 [1990]) to suggest how new content formats can create hybrid teaching and learning experiences aimed at the (re) construction of space and memory, in the defense of democracy.
