A ciência romântica de A.R. Luria e a narrativa no gênero científico e literário

Abstract

This paper aims to discuss      the use of narrative as a scientific method, emphasizing its role in the development of the so - called "Romantic Science", focusing mainly on works by A. R. Luria, considered one of the most relevant representatives of this strand. Based on Bakhtinian concepts, we will try to characterize the nuances of the “Romantic Science” as a scientific and literary, and to demonstrate how the author constructs his narrative between the ethical and the aesthetic. We will conclude by discussing how this author influenced later works in the area and that were consecrated by the quality of the narrative, as is the case of the works of Oliver Sacks.
