Teorias sistêmicas e estudos de literatura

Resumen

A look at literature studies in Germany in recent years points to an increasing interest in systemic theories developed by the sociologist Niklas Luhmann. One of the advantages of his models, which try to deal with high complexity and contingency phenomena, relies on the substitution of the exclusion theorem translated into the expression “either this or that” for the alternative formula “this and that”. The present reflections intend to be an initial evaluation of the appropriation of the concepts proposed by Luhmann by literature studies.
