Teoria da metáfora e modernidade em Antonio Machado

Resumen

Antonio Machado’s metaphor theory reveals a critical position syntonized with the cultural modernity thought. The investigation proves 1 – that Machado’s conceptual metaphor is based in F. Nietzsche, 2 – that there are critic coincidences between Machado and poets linked to the hispanic vanguards (Borges, Lorca). So, it would be needed to correct the image of a traditionalist Machado confronted with the 20 th century poetics.
