Resumen

The text discusses the question of “the search of the Origin” as a common place in the study of literary romanticism. The poetry of Casimiro de Abreu is examined to show it as a pseudo search once the romantic lyrical scripture is indeed orphan, The signs of the lyric subject points to a feminine lyrical subject avoinding the differences between masculine and feminine cultural features.
