Abstract

 Brazilian co-authored literature, produced amid the COVID-19 pandemic and by women, testifies to writing as a sharing of life and words, a discourse that is experience. In co-authorship, the word would come from a political body that wants to be together and alive, even at a distance and under the sign of crisis, death, and Bolsonaro's fascism. Based on the collective aspect intrinsic to social movements, our hypothesis is that co-authored writing would configure a political practice that would problematize and tension the notion of modern authorship by highlighting encounter and friendship. Such a practice would reject the myth of individual authorship as the only possible form of authorship in the literary field by making explicit a joint way of creating and would approach an “empty program” such as that present in friendship. Understanding writing as a potentially transformative and creative action of the world and relationships, we conclude that it enables the decentering of the Western author, patriarchal authority, and brings with it ways of life based on mutual pleasure.
