O inverno e o verão como representação do exílio na obra de Albert Camus e Isabel Allende

Abstract

This work aims to analyze the epigraph by Albert Camus that is in the novel In the midst of winter by Isabel Allende (2017). Therefore, the objective is to investigate the relationship between the winter mentioned in the epigraph that is part of the short story Return to Tipasa by Albert Camus (1952) and the winter in the novel, based on the character Lucía. Based on Bakhtin (2003), we propose to investigate the dialogical relations of the works and highlight the similarities and differences through comparative literature.
