This article proposes an analysis of the graphic novel Watchmen (1986-1987), written by Alan Moore and illustrated by Dave Gibbons. The analysis focuses on a specific character, Rorschach, whose death we interpret by means of suicide, and not a sacrifice. As a means of sustaining that hypothesis, we propose a dialogue with the essay The myth of Sisyphus (1942), by Albert Camus.
