The essay discusses the space of Literary Theory as a two-way route that should be capable of explain and legitimate literary texts. It brings the reflection about the objetc, the interpretation, the textual structure and the subject of Literary Theory, presenting Rayuela, of Julio Cortázar as a literary work that exemplifies the modern needs of Theory.
