Dear readers, authors, and reviewers of the UFJF Nursing Journal (Revista de Enfermagem da UFJF),

It is with great enthusiasm that we announce an important step towards the internationalization of our scientific journal and the improvement of publication quality. Starting from January 2024, all submissions, acceptances, and/or publications in the UFJF Nursing Journal (Revista de Enfermagem da UFJF) must be translated into English and reviewed for Portuguese text.

This decision reflects our commitment to making our work accessible to a global audience, promoting the exchange of knowledge and international collaboration in the field of nursing. We believe that this initiative will not only benefit our authors by giving them international visibility but also enrich our journal with high-quality contributions.

It is important to note that the Journal will not charge submission and/or publication fees. However, translation into English and revision of the Portuguese text will be mandatory. We are dedicated to maintaining accessibility and the quality of our publications.

We appreciate the understanding and support of everyone involved in this journey. We look forward to your continued collaboration and involvement in achieving our goals of excellence and internationalization.
