A RELEVÂNCIA PEDAGÓGICA DO DIÁLOGO FRENTE À DIFUSÃO DA CULTURA DO ÓDIO E À VIOLÊNCIA

Currently, through the media and social media, as well as in the socializing processes of families and communities, prejudiced beliefs, affections and attitudes of intolerance and violence are spread. Contemporary society urgently lacks pedagogical tools that enable cordial and collaborative encounters between those who are different. The objective of this article is to reflect on the relevance of dialogue, as a systematized pedagogical proposal, which establishes the central principle of the learning mediation process and, in this way, becomes a pedagogical practice that can combat the spread of the culture of hate and increasing violence in the current generation. To this end, the text is structured in two parts: the first is dedicated to a better understanding and denunciation of the ontological and pedagogical aspects inherent to the culture of hate, while the second part is at the service of proposing clues for a pedagogy of dialogue.
