This is an exploratory research that sought to understand the extracurricular (non-formal) actions that take place at the State Conservatory of Music Renato Frateschi (CEMRF), a formal education space - state public school - located in the city of Uberaba/MG. In the reflections on such actions, we seek to build dialogues with research in the area on the theme of non-formal education in order to contribute to the construction of knowledge about these practices for society. We also seek to understand how the actions developed at CEMRF happen, whether they interact with the formal course, and how they relate to students/community. We worked on the results from theoretical references of “Prose Analysis”, building narratives from interviews with teachers, and analyzing them from axes constructed with them. We observed that non-formal actions raise resources in the material, affective, political and pedagogical spheres for students, teachers and the community.
