VIDA NUA E RACIONALIDADE NEOLIBERAL NA EDUCAÇÃO
UMA ANÁLISE A PARTIR DO PENSAMENTO DE AGAMBEN
Abstract
Under the aegis of cuts in public investment in Brazilian education, attacks on the honor of federal university institutions and the scrapping of the social right to education in Brazil, the influence of oligopolies and private interests in decision-making spaces that, in theory, should be occupied and used for the democratic purpose of defending the collectivity. From this context, the research was based on the postulates of Rolnik (2018), Agamben (2002), Dardot and Laval (2016), to answer the following question: what are the consequences of neoliberal policies in education from the concept of bare life? in Agamben? In this sense, the research had as main objectives to establish a conceptual statute of the notion of bare life based on the theoretical foundations of Giorgio Agamben in the work Homo Sacer: the sovereign power and the naked life I (2002) and, after, to analyze how this This idea can amplify the understanding of the phenomenon of neoliberal policies in Brazilian education. In this sense, the diagnosis of the neoliberal context from the conceptual lens made possible by Agamben allows us to denote the primary function of neoliberal policies and the precariousness of public education as tools provided by neoliberal reason that operate the intellectual and subjective colonization of human bodies according to the designs of the capital.
