Abstract

The objective of this text is to present an experience report, carried out in mid-2021 and early 2021, in the Licentiate Degree in History at XXX. With the covid-19 pandemic and remote teaching in public universities, we collectively built with the course students a Working Group entitled Gender, sexuality and ethnic-racial relations in the teaching of History. The final result was the production (and soon publication) of a didactic notebook on the subject aimed at basic education. In addition to the report of this experience, we will debate about curricula, teaching History, Public History and the inclusion of the themes of gender, sexuality and ethnic-racial relations as central to teacher education and the promotion of critical and emancipatory education in Licentiateship courses in History.
