This work intends to approach the repair on speech as an operation associated to the discursive maneuver on the building of social construction. It was selected, for the phenomena analysis, a conversational context in which the face tasks make of quite relevant linguistic actions: a meeting among teachers for the discussion of their pedagogical practice. We observed the manner through which the speakers "act" discursively as a way to hide/maintain/recover their social identities and the repair operations derived from this communicative effort.
