In this paper, we propose to expose the various aspects of Eurocentrism and the way in which it organizes itself in our daily lives, thus influencing our way of being, thinking and acting, based on the approaches of (de)colonial authors such as Quijano (2005), Fanon (2008), Mignolo (2008), Mama (2010), Cunha (2012) and Crenshaw (2004). We intended to develop a reflection on these authors and their explanations to make us understand how the influences of the colonial period are still dominant, even after its end and the independence of the colonized countries, seeking to emphasize how the colonial standards are imposed on us in a naturalized way, without any critical view of this process. As a fundamental basis for the development of this work, we used the concept of coloniality of power, designed by Quijano (2005).
