Resumen

Esta revisión sistemática examina la crisis global de refugiados, con énfasis en la vulnerabilidad de los ancianos. Se investigan los procesos psicosociales relacionados con la salud durante el envejecimiento de los refugiados, centrándose en el impacto del estrés. Se emplea un protocolo riguroso para analizar la evidencia científica disponible. Se resalta la subutilización de los servicios de salud mental y la falta de apoyo específico para los refugiados de edad avanzada. El estudio busca comprender las brechas en la atención humanitaria para desarrollar intervenciones efectivas. Los resultados previstos subrayan la urgencia de estrategias de apoyo para los refugiados mayores de 60 años, reconociendo la necesidad crítica de preservar su salud y bienestar.
