This systematic literature review addresses the global refugee crisis, with a focus on the vulnerability of the elderly population. The research problem centers on psychosocial processes related to health during the aging of refugees, specifically investigating the impact of stress. The review follows a rigorous protocol to analyze available scientific evidence. The underutilization of mental health services and the lack of specific support for elderly refugees are highlighted. The study aims to understand gaps in humanitarian care, aiming to develop effective interventions. Anticipated results underscore the urgency of targeted support strategies for refugees above 60 years old, recognizing the critical need to preserve their health and well-being.
