Resumo

Esta revisão sistemática aborda a crise global de refugiados, com foco na vulnerabilidade das pessoas idosas. São analisados os processos psicossociais que impactam a saúde durante o envelhecimento de refugiados, com ênfase no estresse. A revisão segue um protocolo rigoroso para avaliar as evidências disponíveis, revelando a subutilização de serviços de saúde mental e a falta de apoio específico. O estudo identifica lacunas no cuidado humanitário, propondo o desenvolvimento de intervenções eficazes. Os resultados indicam a urgência de estratégias voltadas para refugiados acima de 60 anos, a fim de preservar sua saúde e bem-estar.
