Psoriasis is a chronic and non-communicable disease that affects the skin of individuals of both sexes, being more frequent in adulthood. With the cause related to several factors and the comorbidities linked to psoriasis, the indicated treatment is multidisciplinary. We sought to understand the influence of emotions in the perspective of adults with psoriasis from a systematic review and synthesis based on meta-ethnography with constructs discussed in the light of Analytical Psychology. Among the qualitative articles analyzed, emotions permeated the interrelation between symptoms, self-image and attitudes, influencing the manifestation of symptoms and the individual's psychological and daily dynamics.
